Blonde Platane is a personal project done for my brother's home brewed beer. The name is a play on words in french on "blonde platine" (platinum blonde) and "platane" which is the ancient family tree we have in our garden. In french, a blond beer is a lager so it also indicates what type of beer it is. The idea was to create a label that was modern and simple. The powerful typeface is La Murmure and the warm yellow in the background refers to the type of beer but also the warmth of a summer in Provence, which is where the beer was brewed.
